Portrait 166 – Molly

Molly and her husband Brandon are very special to me. They were one of the very first weddings that I shot professionally. They basically took a chance on me. On the day of their wedding, my second shooter didn’t show up and I was all alone. I could have panicked but there is no option of failure in wedding photography. Molly and her family were so laid back and welcoming that I never really had anything to worry about. It was actually one of the hottest days of the year and her grandmother was so concerned about the amount I was sweating that she kept bringing me ice water and towels. Molly’s wedding is also where I met Michelle Perry of Michelle Perry Photography, the photographer who gave me the inspiration to start my own 365 Project. I had seen them done before but few with the quality and dedication that Michelle was producing. When I found out that Molly and Brandon were going to be in the area for the holidays, you better believe I jumped at the chance to include them in the project. About Molly:

I am from Bangor, Maine. I currently live in New Hampshire with my husband, Brandon and our little dog, Harry. I teach high school Spanish and I love working with kids. I have a great life and I am thankful for what has come my way.
