Jeremy and Stacey’s Wedding Day | Morgan Hill Event Center

December weddings are quite a bit more challenging to shoot than at any other time of year. The days are extremely short and the temperature is in the teens. Outdoor shooting is a negative. Even an impending snow storm couldn’t put a damper on what turned out to be a fantastic wedding. Jeremy looked outstanding in his uniform and Stacey’s dress was amazing. Throw in some really cool lighting supplied by the DJ and my job was pretty easy shooting this gorgeous couple.:)

Ken and Kerrie’s Wedding | Bangor Public Library Photography

Walking with a bride, camera in hand, through the hallways of a public library, watching the surprised faces of the visitors as we went past has to be one of the coolest experiences I’ve had as a photographer. Kerrie certainly got many looks as well as several congratulations from the onlookers. I have to admit, I was hesitant when she mentioned that the ceremony was to take place at the Bangor Public Library, but boy was she right! The nearly 100 year old building has some of the most beautiful architecture in the Greater Bangor Area. There are so many options and locations for photography throughout the library.

Ken and Kerrie did a magnificent job staying relaxed and having fun throughout the day. Their silliness certainly came through in some of the images. I can’t complain. In my experience, a relaxed couple equals a relaxed photographer and vice versa.:)

Maine Wedding Photographer | Dave and Michelle’s Wedding Day

I had such a great time photographing this wedding. It feels like forever since I’ve done anything other than the 365 Portrait Project so I was ready to let loose. I’ve been friends with Michelle for years, ever since she was an undergrad and I was honored that she and Dave asked me to capture their wedding day. Take a look through the images and you’ll see I wasn’t the only one who had a blast!;)

Octavio and Stacy | Ft Lauderdale Florida Wedding Photography

Beach wedding on Ft. Lauderdale beach? Yes please. Limo ride to the reception? Don’t mind if I do. This was probably the hottest wedding I’ve ever shot and the most I’ve ever sweat while dressed up in the South Florida heat and humidity. That didn’t matter because the day was spectacular and the company was great. I was dripping by the end of the night but that didn’t stop anyone from giving me hugs of joy.:)

Central Maine Wedding Photography | Walter and Danielle’s Wedding Day

Another beautiful wedding is in the books. I melted several times that day because of the heat and humidity but it was definitely worth it. My streak of getting verklept at every wedding I’ve photographed is still alive after watching the bride walked down the aisle by both her dad and stepdad. Congratulations Danielle and Walter!

Camden Maine Wedding Photography | Michael and Michelle’s Wedding Day

If you like Maine-themed weddings, you’re going to love this one. They thought of everything. There were lighthouse lanterns, lobster traps, mason jars filled with blueberries and candles filled with sand and sea shells. To top it off, they had the cutest little adirondack chairs as the guest cards. Don’t believe me, have a look.

The wedding was simply elegant and traditionally beautiful. The bride and groom looked amazing. Everyone had a great time and the crowd even danced a loosely choreographed version of Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

A big shout out to Kate Crabtree Photography for being an awesome second shooter.:)
